About

Kentucky Trial Town

Welcome to this one stop light town we call Burkesville. Cumberland County is filled with fantastic scenery and our most popular attraction is the Cumberland River flowing right through our county. Popular attractions include horse trials, motorcycle trials, walking trails and of course the Cumberland River. After you are done riding your horse, hitting the mud with your motorcycle, or getting in shape on a walk why don't you head down and grab a bite at Burkesville Pool Room, Annie Ruby's, and Subway which are located around the courthouse square. Other restaurants you might enjoy could be Pizza Hut, Jones Restaurant and Kim's Tasty Foods. Just all a few minutes from Veteran's Memorial Park located next to Schickel Ln the beginning of the Burkesville Trail Head. The first official trail event will be The Riverman Series kayak race. The first ever semi-professional series brought to Cumberland County.
